Throughout the video, I thought it was really powerful that it had survivors from Sudan telling parts of their histories. I also love the quote from the song, "When they hurt you and scared you for twenty odd years…well you can’t really function you’re so full of fear.” That really just hits the nail on the head for describing what a lot of people there went through, all the suffering they endured. Also, the random close ups on wringing hands and eyes looking away, men crying and girls smiling at the idea of peace, and the gloominess of the video made it really powerful because it showed emotion.

I am appalled by the things that are going on in Sudan. Seeing the survivours is refreshing to see that people can overcome what is going on but disturbing on so many levels when it comes down to what happened to their friends, family, and neighbors. People have to go through this every single day, they have to see death, watch torture, be tortured, and struggle for surivival every single day.

There are so many people in Sudan going through struggle after struggle. After loosing someone that meant a lot to them, they have to go through it again and also spend their times in camp with people that in 5 years, they may never see again. It describes the fear of all of the people going through this. A lot of people have to go through this each day and throughout the video it describes the fear of so many people.
