Click on the above website and read it thoroughly. What do you think about the U.S government just recently (2004) acknowledging genocide in Sudan?

I think that it is nice that they are just starting to realize what is going on, but I think that we should focus more on ourselves, since we are facing problems.

I think that it's extreamly late for the U.S government to realize this is going on because the damage has already been done.

The U.S definitely knew about genocide in Sudan before 2004, when they actually started acknowledging it. Taking action now will help Sudan, but it is far too late to really get the chance to try to stop it. To make up for the years the U.S didn't acknowledge Sudan, we should definitely really try to help and make Sudan and safer and better place to live.

I have to agree that it is true the U.S needs to focus a little more upon itself, but to look at the insanity of the fact that this has been going on for YEARS and just recently they've acknowledged the genocidal killings makes me want to squirm in my seat.
